review 1: This book has a peculiar structure. It jumps around and I feel as though I am reading the author's journal. It is the type of book that needs to be digested in small bits. There are powerful nuggets but then I would read on and find myself questioning how some segments even made it into the final draft. Perhaps the reader is supposed to feel as if she is floating in a kayak and meandering through his thoughts.
