review 1: What I most liked about this book was the cliched conflict ended better and quicker than I thought it would. I especially liked the heroine, I really identified with her and her (I hate this word, but what are you going to do?) values about being a caretaker. I feel very much the same and while I like reading books about career women and career ambitious women, it was nice to read a book where the ambitions are in another direction.
review 2: Five stars. The main characters in Just For Now are Jenna, a teacher and nanny, Finn, a rugby player, Sophie, Finn's daughter, and Harry, Finn's son. All four of the characters were well-written. Jenna is kind and extremely domestic. She's such a kind person to everyone she meets. Which I expected considering she works
... morewith children for a living. And she's very domestic. There's even one scene where she jokes about having an extra domestic gene. Finn is very protective. Again, I expected this considering the fact that he has two little children that he has basically raised by himself. Aside from some help from his nannies. Sophie and Harry are both extremely cute children. Reading about their interactions with Jenna and Finn honestly make the book. The chemistry between Jenna and Finn is scorching hot. Even though both of them have times where they are afraid to commit to one another. And this stems from both of their pasts. But like the first book, this doesn't stop the hot sex scenes. And let me tell you, they are seriously hot. The other scenes with the both of them were really cute to read. Cute because both Finn and Jenna were so far gone over each other. And their scenes with the kids were adorable. The secondary characters of Siobhan, Sarah and Natalie were nice touches. All three of them were great friends to Jenna. Especially Siobhan and Sarah towards the end of the book, at a time when Jenna needed them. The concept of the book was interesting. Like I stated in a previous review, I love rugby and romance. So the combination of both of them were a great touch. The plot of the book was interesting and it kept me reading. I finished this one in a little over a day.Overall, the book was great. My favorite of the series so far. As I have stated before, I live in the U.S. and do not have much knowledge of New Zealand outside of what I've learned in school. So I cannot say whether or not the information in the book is authentic. But it's a great read nonetheless. I would recommend it. less
