Escape to New Zealand
review 1: I had some frustration with this story. The New Zealand bits were great. From what I can tell, the cultural details were spot on. The main character, though, was the type of flawed human being I couldn't really enjoy spending time with. I wanted her to get over herself and her trust issues faster. I also found some of her ignorance about things NZ to be embarrassing. For someone who wanted to vacation there and then relocates for work, she sure had some bonehead moments about the country.Oh, and it epilogues with babies. Not that there are anything wrong with babies, but I recently was reading TV Tropes, and it was totally "Babies Ever After".
review 2: This was fun... Hannah takes a much deserved three week vacation to New Zealand, meets Drew, a native
... morewho happens to be a hot rugby player... who also happens to be the most well-known player in En Zed. Since she has no idea who he is, he finds this refreshing. She's got a past -- forced to raise her younger siblings after her parents' deaths, therefore abandonment issues, plus a pair of siblings who are entirely selfish.Did I want to slap her a few times for not realizing what was happening? Yes, but that's typical in these stories. She wasn't a doormat but overly protective of herself and her heart and I could appreciate that.Loved the basic premise, the sex scenes were hot and there's an HEA. less

Like other reviewers have said nothing really happened. It was a decent quick beachy/vacation read.

almost 3, but just could't do it. it was a sweet story, but the heroine was a bit annoying.

Quick, light read. No real conflict.
