review 1: If you want a nice, easy to follow, romance story, this is for you! Maggie is a widow with a young son. She is a great mom and works hard! John is a police officer and he gets a call that there is an unusual animal in the backyard. Thinking it is a crank call, he shows up and finds the animal! Through a series of events, John is called to the house 2 more times for different animals. Gloria is the best friend to Maggie. She gives good advice when needed! I thought this book was very sweet.
review 2: Well I liked this Christmas read. It was quick, quirky and sweet; a book right up my alley. The characters were well developed and believable. Maggie, a widow, left to raise her son Rickey alone and John, the police officer who rescue them from visiting nativi... morety members were both hurting and neither of them looking for a relationship. Of course Rickey had other ideas. Naramore took a simple plot and wove a sweet romantic christian read. And a little child shall lead them. Enjoy the warm and fuzzy delight in this read. less
