review 1: I'm not completely sure how I feel about this book. It was really weird. But is was good. This is the first time in a long time I write a review with sure uncertainty. Throughout the novel, I did feel sorry for the protagonist. She puts herself in a weird predicament. However, when you learn of how extreme she took her stalker, she seems weird. It's like battling with yourself whether or not it's good to let a person in. I know I'm rambling a bit, and in the worst way, but seriously, when I closed this book, I didn't have a list of pros and cons about the characters, a list of effective plot lines and defective plot lines, or even an enthusiasm to share my opinion on the novel with you all. I honestly don't know how to exlain it, and it isn't often that i am at a loss of w... moreords. I would recommend this book just for the experience of reading it. After closing it, I felt weird. It was sort of creepy, but not in a blatant way.Graham sure knows how to write a novel that is disconcerting to say the least.The main character went from likeable to understandable to omg, she did that?!So 4 stars for the story and all of it's aspects. Just be ready for an unsettling feeling if you read this novel and complete it.
review 2: Carly was a normal girl until things started to change. This book follows Carlyand how she meets Brian, her first love. After the break up, she get curious and wants to find out who his new girlfriend is. She knows that Brian broke up with her because she was too overly attached and easily jealous. Overall, this book isn't SO bad, it's just not my type of book. It's a little sad to read about Carly's not so good life but in the end, life turns out for the best. less
