review 1: Fun,easy,read. Not a book for my teen , but nothing happens between them, just their thoughts,and some conversations. Girl swears off cowboys, and is sick of being left by her father, and then all subsequent boyfriends. Will this one be the same? I felt the story was cut too short, and wrapped up too fast. The revelation from Mom came out of nowhere, and then she excepted it too easily. I enjoyed this read, but not my favorite. Still, worth reading.
review 2: What a refreshing short story. It was just sweet, funny, & a wholesome love story. You have Emily who is a lady veterinarian & Brandon who is an actor posing as a cowboy. At first he does it as a gag just to meet her & also gives her the false name of Houston. The next day he runs into her again purely by ... moreaccident & allows the lie to spin out of control as well as their attraction for one another. Can he fix it & tell the truth when he hears from others that she real loves cowboys. Does he truly want to? The craziness that follows is worth the read. It is fun. It is clesn. & It is real. The characters are well developed as well as the storyline. Enjoy! less
