They all set out to find who murdered Kaylen's mother. So they head back to Romania in search of Elizabeth the Queen of vampires intending to take her out.This is another short story and is book 2 in the series I feel this one is starting to get a bit darker. I am enjoying this series and finding them really quick to read. I am linking the characters and am getting to know them a lot better, it is also quite funny too.As with the last book there is lots of hot sexual situations in it and an entertaining read.I received a cop... morey from the author in exchange for an honest review4 stars for Amazon & 4 for Goodreads~Jane~
review 2: One Bite By Rue Volley This is the first book I have read by Rue Volley and have to say “WOW”. I have read some shorts here and there by Rue but this is the first full story and I am very impressed. The beginning of One Bite caught me totally off guard. As I started the story I was expecting one thing to happen to the helpless female character and did I get the surprise of my life when what I thought would happen didn’t and the story took a different twist. No helpless females in this story. Rue’s female characters are strong and independent. I liked the twist of the vampire theme and loved where the story went. There is murder, vampires and steamy hot sex in this one and a story line that is full of surprises. Now I can’t wait to read the next one, which is Two Bites. I am now hooked. If you like vamps, hot sex and a plot that is not typical you have to get One Bite and believe me you will want the next ones as well. Bella Doerres Ma Ed less
