review 1: At times rustic at times sci-fi it what comes to mind. It was a good try to mix up both the genre's but neither was successfully developed. It was confusing to understadn whether the story was of a mail order bride or a time traveller. Though the story of Penelope had a beginning and end, Cole's story had a beginning but nothing followed. No mention of the time travel thing. How he gave away his orb to Blake...nothing. That was disappointing.It was as if there was deadline and those many pages need to be filled.I cannot recommend it to anyone at all.It is a forgettable tale.
review 2: Ok so I found out this book finishes of Meant To Be...... SORRY DON'T CARE..... WOULDN'T READ PT 1 NOW IF YOU PAID ME.....sorry this sounds brutal but there was no story to this s... moretory...... no flesh/filling to explain anything........I mean why would a woman just believe her new 'love' come from the future no questions asked... IS SHE A DITZ OR JUST IDIOTIC..... and why would he come back to the past to live with very little technology or resources when he left the future stealing this stuff, why not take her to the future.......AGAIN DEEEERRRRRRR. PLEASE DON'T READ THIS BOOK IT IS SOOOO FRUSTRATING...... less
