review 1: I loved this book. It was a good surprise. I think that are some inconsistencies like the fact that Cooper didn't really try to have sex with Mac, what is weird. He is an actor, Hollywood star. It was improbable that he would pay a trip for her without nothing more than a "thanks". It is important to say that I didn't WANT it, but it was highly probably. But the story is so beautiful and made me think about my values, my things.
review 2: Very thought provoking and able to correlate main character and her trusty side kick, Cameron, to my own life (with me as Mack). I, unfortunately, don't have that man in my life like Mack and can only hope for my own happy ending someday. I felt a lost connection when things seemed to be a little far fetched as the story pro... moregressed. Gradually, it became back down to earth and real and I gained that connection back. A few tears welled up with thoughts of me needing to do some of my own soul searching and finding love for/of Him surfaced and resonated quite loudly. Maybe this book is a sign??!! ;) All in all, a really good read and was finished in just several hours (I'm a fast reader). less
