review 1: Overall it was an ok read although there were moments I was ready to give up on it and more than a few times I cringed with embarrassment. The writing was good but the two main characters were at times annoyingly melodramatic and very selfish. Also maybe I'm a prude but it was just too trashy for my tastes and the ending felt too rushed and far fetched. I admit that I did skim read a lot of parts but the fact that I read to the end means it's worth giving it a chance.
review 2: Ann has this incredible way to take you on a journey with her characters that is just amazing. Although there were times I wanted to rip my hair out when it came to Saskia I have to say that I admire her tenacity. Even though she was one of the world's most famous pop singers she listen
... moreed to that voice within. She saw what she wanted and went for it. Jaheel was such a jerk but I ended up falling under his spell as well as the many other groupies. I would highly suggested reading the other books first because I was very confused about Jaheel until I read I choose you. less
