review 1: I really liked this book because it isn't the typical romance story and I think a lot of us can relate to feeling unsure if we can find someone to love and accept all parts of us. I would've given it more stars but really didn't like all if the overly described sex scenes. I didn't think that was necessary for the book. I get that it helps her with her control issues, but I thought it was a little much.
review 2: I really liked the idea for this book, but the execution left something to be desired. There was light BDSM in this book, and apparently the hero liked control in the bedroom, but exhibited this nowhere else in his life. Also, (semi-spoiler) when you give a blowjob to a guy and he forcibly chokes you and forces you to swallow his cum, it is not okay. T... morehat is disgusting and I would have gotten the heck out of dodge. Also, the hero talked dirty in the bedroom, but in his everyday life, he was a button-up wearing, bowtie sort of guy who did not cuss. It just did not make sense. Other than that, I liked this book well enough. less
