review 1: Uh what?! That was the end? But what about... Oh wait, I don't want to give it away. This was different- a lot is happening in this story that isn't happening to the couple. I'm guesing this is all set up for or a tie in to some other story. These other things don't take away from this story but at least one of the loose ends where not tied up enough. Presley and Zane are a cute couple. I liked him from the other books and was really happy to see him get his own book. I was happy to see Zane and Presley part of the story did have a nice happy ending. At least they get there happily ever after.
review 2: Overall I enjoyed this story - I have a major thing for ugly heroines and the smokin' hot heroes that love them. Ms. Hunter writes an engaging story, but I ... morehad to knock off stars for her ridiculously over the top "bad guys" in this. People are cruel in life, but repeatedly the blantant cruelty is so unbelievable toward the heroine that I couldn't control my eye rolling. Subtlety would have made a huge difference in this book and we still would have had a good ugly duckling tale. less
