review 1: I don't even know where to start with this book. I can honestly say that the best part of this book is the cover. In short, it's poorly written which makes it ridiculously confusing. I really hate it when authors refer to people or events like I should know who or what they are without ever explaining. On top of that, I really hated the main character, especially in the first 100 pages or so. I get it. You've had a really tragic childhood and you want to kill yourself but you can't. Every other thought was about how she was jealous of all the people that could die. And Angela? Really? Talk about cliche.I would suggest you not waste your time on this book.
review 2: Cosa posso dire di questo libro...L'ho apprezzato giusto nelle pagine finali (fa parte di una tri... morelogia) perché finalmente ho iniziato a capire la trama molto più ampia che l'autrice voleva far intendere.Fin dal principio mi sono innamorata di tre personaggi: Kim, Israfel e Raziel.Però, oltre a questo non ho potuto fare altro, perché non sono riuscita ad intendere subito la trama e quindi ero costretta ad andare a rilento per congiungere tutti i pezzi che l'autrice ha disseminato lungo le pagine, rendendo tutto misterioso come la città che viene descritta e che, sinceramente, se esistesse davvero, sarei curiosa di visitare.La scrittura è molto scorrevole senza intoppi anche se a volte risulta per l’appunto complicata.Però devo dire che l'idea degli Angeli mi è piaciuta parecchio!Gli do tre stelline e mezzo solo perché la trama è un pochino troppo aggrovigliata su se stessa, per il resto...Quando vengono Raziel e Israfel a prendermi? less
