review 1: Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is not only a great cricketer, but also a great man. The book is nicely written, describing his cricket life and also his personal life. He described every matches, he played in his 24 years cricket career.He has told in this book about his childhood,how he started playing cricket,how he passed his hard times, how he handled a particular Bowler as a batsman and a particular batsman as a bowler, some memorable incidents in cricket. How he fought to come back in his every injury time. There are so many things an upcoming cricketer can learn from this book.And the photos in it, made this book more enjoyable. There are many photos of his childhood, his cricket life, and his family. I just couldn't help myself checking them again and again. :DIf you are... more a cricket fan, you can start reading this book right now. I can assure you,you won't be disappointed. The book was just as I expected. I really enjoyed reading this book.
review 2: Being a Sachin Bhakt I couldn't commit blasphemy. The five stars are purely for the amazing life I have had thanks to all the memories bestowed upon us mortals by the Little Master. Boria Mazumadar, the so-called co-writer, has turned this into a series of boring match reports. I wish we had more tales of Sachin, the person. Cos' Sachin, the Cricketer, is one of our own. He has been (figuratively) our childhood playmate, teenage idol, adulthood inspiration, and lifelong friend. Please read this book as a tribute to your love for the champion. After that purge yourself by tuning into Youtube for yet another recap of the Desert Storm. less
