review 1: This was cute and I liked that it talks about a different view point (first person) in a story. Sometimes the information presented was not presented clearly or organized properly.I did like that it covers different careers, how to go to a job interview, and what is needed for some jobs. A little simplistic but easy to understand for kids.Not sure I would use it as a mentor text for how to writing but a possible choice if nothing available.
review 2: I couldn't help but laugh out loud when reading this one. I started reading parts of it to a friend who was in the room. An interesting perspective on how to get a job from the eyes of a child as told to her baby brother. Loved the part where in the interview she reminds him "You shouldn't EVER bite the Boss whe... moren he is talking to you. Or sit in his lap. Or fall asleep." Young children will enjoy this a lot and parents will get a kick out of it as well. less
