review 1: I loved the beginning of this book and it continued to delight from there. Lady Vivian Worth knows how to be a perfect lady, but she’s not a big fan of it, especially while sequestered out in the country with her aunt. She takes a dip in the pond, sans clothing of course, where Luke Forest, the newly named Duke of Foxhaven first encounters her, and mistakes her for a servant. Luke doesn’t want anything to do with the woman he’s been betrothed to, but once he discovers it’s the irrepressible Lady Vivian, he begins to have second thoughts of ending the betrothal. Vivian feels that the only way she can redeem herself after a youthful indiscretion involving being caught in a compromising position with a groom, is to marry the man her brother has decided on for her.... more As the couple journeys together to a country house party (with chaperones of course), they get to know one another better, and Vivian can’t seem to keep herself out of trouble, much to her dismay, which serves to enchant Luke even more. I enjoyed the story and thought the two characters and their motives were understandable, but I was happy to see them find their happiness in the end.
review 2: Charming Regency romance!I have just finished reading LADY VIVIAN DEFIES A DUKE by Samantha Grace. It is the charming story of Lady Vivian Worth and Luke Forest set the Regency era. It's starts as Luke meets Vivian, an unconventional lady with a touch on the wild side! He is not sure what to expect of her and decides not to marry her. But, he never thought of seeing her in the arms of other men would upset him. But sparks will flare near him! Will he get jealous and want to keep her for himself. If you love historical romance, then this book is perfect for you. This is the first book that I read by the author and I am going to watch her other books. The story is very well written! I won't write a complete review, because other have done it! less
