review 1: A série dos irmãos texanos Wilde composta pelos livros Louco Amor, Presente de Uma Noite e Um Homem Impiedoso foi muito boa. Claro que foi estilo água com açúcar, mas foi gostoso de ler os 3 livros. Eu recomendo.No livro Louco Amor, Jacob Wilde é um homem marcado físico e emocionalmente pela Guerra no Iraque e que esta tentando reconstruir sua via pós guerra. Addison McDowell é independente e praticamente uma workaholic new yorker e quando recebe de herança um rancho no interior de Dallas, pensava que isso seria o único evento inusitado em sua vida... review 2: I soo enjoyed this book. Where to begin.... I have a thing about brooding men. Enter Jacob Wilde. He's back from Afghanistan, and he's a bloody mess. He's scarred and dealing with PTS and he's so lonely. Now, it's difficult to take on a man so damaged, but Jacob just seems worth it. Enter Addison, she's inherited this land, and Jacob was recommended to help her navigate and cultivate the land. He's immediately attracted to her, which causes him to act like a neanderthal and treat her like a trollop at their very first meeting. He soon realizes he was wrong to treat her in that manner. He attempts to act like a gentleman and drive her home, only to give into their sexual desires and almost get it on (bow-chicka-bow-wow) on the roof of his truck. Whoa Mama! Keep with me people. Fast forward... Addison and Jacob hole up at her place and just screw like bunnies. Seriously. I was uber jealous. The go at it for days on end. And Jacob starts to feel more human because Addison just seems to 'get him'. But it all becomes too much too fast, and Jacob, as all brooding men typically do, lash out at Addison and ups and leaves. I won't tell you the end... gotta keep some suspense. But everything comes full circle. But, I always say, "if you can't love yourself, you can't love someone else." This book reiterates that sentiment... with some yummy sex scenes in between. 'Oh jacobbbb!' I recommend this book. Boo-ya! less
