review 1: I don't even need a perfect reason to give the book four stars. Though I did not cry after reading this but it was so much more than a typical m&b. There was so much emotion, intensity, humour, sorrow and the moving power of love. Hey who am I talking about? This is Sandra Marton. She never fails to leave an impact. Writing a creditable review for this book is beyond my capacity. I simply cannot express how much I adored the book and ts protagonists.I guess these quotes will help me to express the beauty of this book.'I don't give a good goddamn what your doctor says! review 2: I cannot tell you how I loved loved loved this book!!! First I want to tell you that this whole Wilde Brothers series of Sandra Marton's is absolutely phenomenal!! As you read each of the books, you learn so much about the Wilde family which includes brothers, sisters, father, and sister-in-laws. The love between the three Wilde brothers, Travis, Caleb and Jake is amazing. They are so protective of each other and so supportive. It is hilarious to watch each of them fall into love and out of being a macho man!! They are sure it will never happen to them and then all of a sudden bang they are head over heels in love.The latest book of the Wilde series, The Merciless Travis Wilde was wonderful. It was funny, frustrating at times and an emotional roller coaster. It is not often that a book brings me to tears (you know the ugly tears!!) but it was truly worth every tear I shed. I started it last evening and could not, would not and did not put it down until I was finished. Then I re-read the last chapters before I ever got out of bed to go to work the next morning! The story was so dimensional and I loved the way it dove into their characters, fears, hopes, dreams and emotions. The chance meeting of Travis and Jennie, leads them to many places but the final place will leave you smiling for at least the rest of the day.I cannot wait for Sandra's next book as I do not want to say good-bye to this wonderful Wilde family!!! I truly love Sandra's writing style. She leaves you breathless for the next book; however, she finishes each story, so you are not left hanging waiting for the conclusion.If you love contemporary romances, I highly recommend becoming familiar with this series and all the other wonderful books written by this phenomenal author!!! less
