review 1: Well, after reading back to back the last five books, I've nearly caught up with the current books in this series - am I losing interest after such a glutinous episode? Oh no! it just leaves me wanting more. This time around it's Ross and Cole's story. Both carrying so much massive baggage but both so vulnerable and together making two halves whole. This was slightly different to the last few books, no great big "bomb shells" were dropped but mainly concentrated on our two MC's, which was really nice. Really looking forward to the next book in this marvellous series.
review 2: Another nice addition to the Assassin/Shifter series. Nothing spectacular, but a fun read nonetheless. This is the story of Ross and Cole. Ross is a shifter and Cole is a firefig
... morehter. Cole has wanted Ross for a long time, but ever since coming off strong in their initial meeting, Ross has consistently rejected him. Though Ross keeps turning down Cole, he can't seem to get him off his mind. I really enjoy this series. These books are light-hearted, easy to read and always have a HEA. No thinking is really required while reading these stories. This is book 22 in the series. With all these characters, and she always has the previous characters in the books, the author should really do a character reference. It's easy to forget or get the characters confused from one book to the next. It would be nice to have a listing in each book as a refresher. less
