review 1: Wow, I was really surprised @ how much I liked this book considering I didn't have high hopes with the mediocre reviews it received. It had all the elements of a great story. A super hot billionaire, who just so happened to be ex military, can we possibly make this character any more appealing, a who did it plot, and a damsel in distress, which this character usually turns my stomach with their stupidity and "what more can I do for you, I'm already on my knees blow@*#%.... U get it. However Lucy was very hard to dislike, you actually empathized with her weakness and understood why she was the way she was. All in all this was a fantastic book that had more of a story plot than what I originally concluded from the title.
review 2: So I had this stored in my eRe... moreader for months already because someone recommended this to me as it was similar to FSoG. Unfortunately, this just didn't work for me. I was into the first chapter and I was like whut dafuq just happened. I just didn't feel a real connection with the book, everything happened too fast. I'll still give it 3 stars for some exciting scenes in throughout the book. less
