review 1: What the...?! What kind of ending was that?! A cliffhanger to the concluding installment of a series??? SERIOUSLY?! O.O Since Google IS my friend, I searched around for an answer regarding the continuation of this series and it seems that all five installments have been bundled together to form one book and that there is another book that will follow. I'm assuming this won't be another set of serials and will actually be a complete novel instead. I don't know if I should be happy there'll be answers to my questions, courtesy of the sequel, or if I should be irritated because I was led to believe this was "conclusion" and was blindsided with a cliffhanger instead. C'est la vie!
review 2: I have followed this series from the beginning. Well... it's not a ... moreseries is it, it's one novel been broken down into 5 instalments, but I persevered and enjoyed it immensely - UNTIL the ending of book 5! I'm really disappointed. I was really hoping for some closure, but it ended on another cliffhanger, and really... how many times can Lucy get kidnapped?!I think the Author lost her way a little towards the end of this novel.Overall I give the series a 4, but the finale was a total let down! less
