review 1: We were gifted a copy for an honest review. This story is Jack's POVI don't even know where to begin! Let me just start by saying this story has to be one of my favorites! Jack's POV literally broke my heart! I was an emotional wreck!Jack is a arrogant bad boy who is broken and very vulnerable. He doesn't let anyone get close to him. Only one person knows the real him and that's Alana his best friend and friend with benefits. Then there is Lily who he can't seem to stay away from. He tells her don't fall for me im not worth it.During this story you will get to see into Jack's mind, a hot love triangle between Jack, Alana & Lily. This whole story was Hot, Raw, Erotic and Absolutely Phenomenal!!!I never wanted this to end! I wish I could give this 100 stars!!!~A... moreshley
review 2: I seriously need a drink and some chocolate...something...anything to pick me up off the floor. When I read Forget Me Not, my first thoughts were Jack and Alana totally made that book worth reading...because I hated Derek and with Lily, they were boring. Now THIS book...OMG...I wanted to cry a few times and yell at them all as well, but reading the story from Jack's POV was definitely an eye opener and it was a heartbreaker. My problem with this book was TOO much...too much booze, too much sex (and all unprotected with multiple partners OMG!!), too much sadness, too much depression...it was at times so much I had to take a break and read something else. I like to read about real life and real problems but sometimes the subject matter is SO heavy that it becomes stressful to get through it. I'm glad I made it through the book though, because there is a light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to go through a lot of suffering and darkness to get there.I'm all for steamy sex scenes in a book...but some of the behaviors of these college aged kids was downright dangerous...no thought for protection at all and while multiple sex parters may be the norm for those with emotional issues and addictions, it seemed a bit irresponsible to me to endanger all of these characters (not to mention the message it might send to teen readers). It wasn't so much that it stopped me from reading, it just was alarming to me to not see any mention of safe sex practices at all.A very dark, sexually explicit book about depression and suicide and serious family dysfunction. I'm almost afraid to read Blue Rose (Alana's book) next since she was majorly messed up as well...I might need to take a break and read something light and fluffy first!**** 4 **** "I see who you are and I still love you" stars less
