review 1: Freeing Alex by Sarah Elizabeth Ashley 4 out of 5 stars Freeing Alex begins with Alexandra (Alex) being in a domestic violence situation, and we progress with her as she grows and becomes free. She receives an inheritance, and her life is completely turned around. I love the way we get to experience the life changes that Alex is going through, and she’s a very well-rounded character. She still has to deal with her abuser, but she also gets a protector. I feel less of a connection to her protector, James, after reading this book, but that’s probably because the story is told from Alex’s point of view, so we don’t actually get inside the head of James. He also seemed to be holding on to some secrets that are revealed before the end of the book. I can’t wa... moreit to see how all of their lives continue to change and how they continue to grow in the next book in the series. review 2: I didn't know what book to write on for my Review i thought i wait until i had finished all 3 Books so i decided to write on the 1st book I give all 3 books 5 ★★★★★ i Would definitely give 10 ★★★★★★★★★★ or more if i couldFirstly i just want to say that I expected this book to make me feel uneasy because of its nature. The prologue which was horrific But saying that I just didn't really get the feeling that I was reading about an abused woman. But this book will have you hooked within the first few pages Alexandra Drake receives inheritance from her "aunt" who has died and with that she uproots her and her daughter and leaves for London. She leaves her abusive husband who has left her with scars inside and out, mentally and physically. The story moves on to Alex being overwhelmed with her new life. I can't write too much here as i have read the 3 books and I don't want to spoil it for anyone but just want to say Loved it from start to finish. There's romance and raunch but with a good story line and strong likeable characters all i can say is read all 3 books you won't be disappointed i highly recommend them all less
