review 1: Her Kind of Trouble was not the story I was expecting at all….it was so much more. I've read a few of Sarah Mayberry's titles now and enjoyed them all, but this story is by far my favourite. The only thing I would have preferred was that it had an Epilogue. As most romance stories seem to have them these days I guess I just expect them, but I was certainly not ready to say goodbye to Seth, Viv and Daisy when I came to the last page.
review 2: I have loved everything I've read by Sarah Mayberry but this one didn't quite work for me. I can't fault her writing or character development, which is spot on as usual. I just didn't care for the plot. I'm not a big fan of babies in stories, so the fact that the hero suddenly becomes a single father didn't impress ... moreor interest me. And there was so much sadness throughout the book (with the exception of the first steamy encounter between H/H) that the romance felt muted at best and almost inappropriate at worst. Just not my cup of tea, I guess, although that won't stop me from seeking out this talented author's next release. less
