review 1: ~~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~This is the second book in the series. This gives you more of what Kate was going through and how she was trying to over come what had happened. She wants things to go back to normal, but at the same time, she just wants to let go. I cried in this book. This book will give your heartstrings a nice tug. But, there is strength in this book. It also gives you hope. Continue to read this book! You will love it!!
review 2: Kate has been able to identify someone who she is familiar to from the mug shot book at the police station. She is still terrified of her attacker coming back. She has taken every precaution at home by installing alarms in all her windows and her front door now sports a variety of locks.As Kat... moree and Derrick attempt to start over again, Derrick cannot forgive himself for reacting the way he did to Kate's attack. All he can do is promise to protect Kate and be there to support her.The undercurrent of danger cannot be missed. From clues The Photographer is leaving behind on purpose, we can tell he has not moved on and Kate is very much on his mind. She is the only victim of The Photographer to survive his attack. This must not be sitting well with him. This man is a serial rapist, who tortures his victims and beats them beyond recognition. Only Kate's determination to survive is greater than the hatred The Photographer has for his victims.Again, we have a book here full of mystery and suspense, as well as an emotional love story to steal any tender heart. We are lucky the third and final book in this series is about to be published. At the end of this book, you will be left holding your breath. My heart was galloping and I was holding my breath when I reached the end. Things could not get any worse... I hope Derrick comes through with a strong heart and committed to finding the truth. less
