I created a mind map just to touch base with my project now that I’m back into the swing of work for the new year
CHANGES/NEW IDEAS:
I’ve been thinking/panicking about what my project is actually going to sound like (hence random posts like ‘I’m trying circuit bending!!!’). currently my main musical outlets seem to be rooted in metal (I started a metal band over Christmas!!) and Gabriel suggested I consider doom metal as an form/extension of/comment on endurance. I’m so intrigued by this – mainly because I think I could write some sick doom metal – but also because I think this makes a lot of sense within my practice. Soooooo I’m gonna do some research into doom metal this week and see if this has any traction
Also I’ve teamed up with Lenny to create the contraptions – more on that later..
