review 1: Started out with possibilities, but too many things did not make sense. The main characters went from a professional one with no chemistry to very unprofessional behavior in the office (yuck). The male lead was perfectly willing to accept the female lead's special abilities until she revealed one item that for no reason caused him to question everything. I think the only characters I really liked in this book were actually not alive.
review 2: I'll be the first to admit I didn't have high hopes when I downloaded this book. I was mildly intrigued by the description and was hoping for a light, somewhat diverting read. I wasn't expecting to be completely blown away by the highly imaginative plot, superb dialogue, and to become emotionally invested in the characte... morers. My only complaint is that this book was too short and fast to read. I would have liked a tad bit more drama and a few more explanations of some loose ends, but otherwise this was a great read and I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in sci fi and fantasy. Oh, and this book is definitely for adult readers only! There are a few extremely steamy scenes, but nothing smutty less
