review 1: This is such a sweet romantic read. I begin to wonder if I will ever read a story by Sawyer Bennet that I don’t like *grins*. This one revolves around Hope & Jack two people who were brought together at a mountain retreat for a winter wedding. Knowing that they will only have a short time together but feeling an instant attraction they decide to enter into a week long fling. Feelings start to grow when they realize there is more than just a sexual attraction there (although the sex is HOT) and then Jack drops the bombshell that he will be leaving for war shortly . He asks Hope not to wait for him, knowing how hard it is on those left behind when soldiers are deployed. However he lets her know that they will meet the following Christmas if he makes it back from overseas.T... morehis one really pulled at my heart strings. Not only do you have Hope the shy girl who is trying to step out of her shell but you also have Jack the sexy soldier. Her sister always says that she is to serious, quiet and shy. She is wisked away for a glorious mini vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains for a wedding. She plans on keeping her noise in a book and enjoying a quiet retreat while her sister attends to her bridesmaid duties. That all changes when she literally falls into Jack Freeman. He is a gorgeous , sensitive Army helicopter pilot who happens to be one of the groomsmen.This weekend has now turned into something that neither one was planning on. They have one major obstacle to overcome. Jack is being deployed to war and their is no guarantee that he will return and make it back to her.This was a wonderful love story.Michele less
