review 1: The way this book is written, I can't tell if the author thinks all of his readers are idiots or if he's just the worst writer. If you tell me, in detail, what the Night of Long Knives is in Chapter 3, I have enough basic reading comprehension to still know what it it when you mention it in chapter 10. The repetitive, banal details and horrible writing made it so that I couldn't even get through the trial portion of this book. Interesting stuff, but you'll get more insight from the Wikipedia article.
review 2: The story is generally interesting and the information about the blackouts was very interesting. However, the author must think that the person reading his book is incredibly stupid and can't remember anything because he repeats everything he has already
... morewritten about at the beginning of every chapter. instead of wanting to continue reading the book, I began dreading new chapters as I was sure the first 2-3 pages was just reading the same damn things over and over again. I skimmed through the end of the book as I could no longer take the constant repeating of facts. less

Written at a junior high school level with an adult subject matter. Not good.
