review 1: I just copied & pasted my review from Amazon.com :)I was pleasantly surprised by this book. When I first seen how short it was I almost didnt buy it, usually short reads feel rushed to me, but even though this book was short unbelievably the story wasnt lacking at all...the heroine was fabulous she kicked ass in a way I wish all my Paranormal Romance did. Sarah is an epic fighter running from a couple douchebag alpha males wanting to entrap her as is so typical of the werewolf boys wanting to lord it over there "little women" brow beat em & keep em in line..NOT SARAH though, she taught them a lesson, knocked a fang or two out, stomped a few testicals & showed em up in ways those bad boys couldnt let lie without retribution. constantly looking over her shoulder for years, s... morehe is found camping on Eriks private property & thinks she has to run, little does she know she just found her dream man ( who just so happens to be her Mate) the story has a wonderful ending & the wonderful part is it has a leading plot for the next book that I cant WAIT!!! to read...Abraham & Steffanies story should be fabulous...I loved all the brothers & cant wait to read more..I just hope the next book is longer & has more information about Erik & Sarah :) I would definitely read again & definitely recommend this book..no cliff hangers & no grammatical errors at all..
review 2: I enjoyed this paranormal/shifter story by Serena Pettus!We see Sarah, alpha female, head strong, determined and running for 6 years. She doesn't want a pack life and wants her freedom. She is found on Erik's land and he offers her a job and a place to stay. She and her wolf are attracted to him but doesn't know if she can trust him. Erik is an alpha male and finds the beautiful Sarah on his land. He wants to protect her and give her a job and security. He wants her to trust him and hope she can stay with him and not run away. The slow relationship that establishes between them is awesome. Sarah's spunky/headstrong personality with Erik's kindness makes it such a sweet interesting story. He truly wants to be kind, polite, friendly, show her trust and more. He is a swoon worthy wolf! I also enjoyed the other characters. I really enjoyed seeing Sarah give Abraham (Erik's brother) a run for his money! The truck scene was just awesome! :) The romance between Abraham and Stephanie (human physician assistant)was nice to watch as well. I loved that Stephanie is just as spunky/headstrong as Sarah and puts Abraham in his place! :) This is a sweet paranormal story and I would recommend it to anyone who loves the paranormal/shifter genre! I look forward to seeing Abraham and Stephanie's story come September!!* I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review* less
