review 1: in the beginning of this book they were at this girls house named Cassie and she had a couple of friends come over and they were playing games on the Tv. Then Cassie kissed this guy and that was something they didn't do a lot. Also Cassie had school and she came friends with theses other girls and they became cheerleaders and her brother went to the same school named Troy High. they had a football game and this guy was interested in her and they became boyfriend and girlfriend. however these girls became very popular at troy high and everyone was always talking to them. one of the most important relation ships between Cassie was Greg were very close because they were always with each other and they always told secrets to each other and never had a bad relation ship with ... moreanyone. this book was not that slow it went pretty fast but you have to stay with it because it kinda will jump to diffrent things. the conflict in the book when Cassie was dating Perry and he really liked her and she broke up with him and he was upset about it because she went to another guy. i would recommend this book to a classmate who loves to do cheerleading why? because if they love either cheerleading or football they would love this book because that is what it is all about!
review 2: After reading the Percy Jackson series, and now the Heroes of Olympus, I have always been interested in Greek mythology. This book flawlessly managed to translate one of the best myths into a high school setting, which is usually quite boring. After all, most “girly” books consist of makeup and boy problems, but this story adds a whole new dimension to that. The rivalry vs. Greg problems that Cassie had really were tough, and I loved how I couldn’t pick a side myself. It was a quick read, yet every page was a good one. less
