review 1: Goodbye, Rebel Blue is essentially about a girl finding herself through a bucket list she promised to help a friend complete. This is the kind of book I wish I'd read when I was a teenager. The narrator, Rebel, is so relatable I think I might really be friends with in real life. Her problems might seem trivial, and the story might end with a prom scene, but this is unabashedly YA, and written with so much heart.
review 2: Okay I really loved this book. I can't muster up any criticism. I adored Rebel and her snarky come backs. Her beautiful blue her and secret thoughts under what everyone assumed of her. Everyone in the book did not get her but I felt the reader was able to. At least I was. So as the story went on I lived how we committed herself to this list an
... mored disregarded all of the confused bystanders. She changed her life and only began to realize it right before everything got turned inside out and she was alienated all. My heart shattered for her and I usually hate books that do that and then make shitty amends and feel strong in themselves. No this book she did what was right and just for all including herself and in the end it worked out. Not to stupid pathetic perfection but to a lovely start and set. I really liked how she went to prom too. I love little Gabby she was to much. And how the friendship between Macey and Rebel strengthened was awesome. All in all I found nothing bad abut this book. Even the ending was sweet. Oh Kennedy. less

The novel's premise is okay, but the writing is just awful even by YA standards.

The stuff she chose for her bucket list made me laugh.
