review 1: This book was a little different than the others, although not any less engaging. It was told in the perspective of Kay {Rhea's best friend} It goes back and forth in time, and you learn why Kay is the way she is. There is not a mystery in this book but I still couldn't put it down. I don't have a thing in common with Kay, but the author has a way of making the character real and making you like her and understand her.
review 2: This one is not quite a sequel to the Rhea Jensen series because it is from her best friend Kay's point of view, but does have significant developments for Rhea's story also. And although it has a murder mystery in it, it's a very small portion of the book, unlike the others. It's mostly Kay currently, with flashbacks of her tragic past
... more. It was not your typical LDS novel, and goes into some pretty bad stuff that happened to Kay, and why she does things now. I won't let my teenage daughter read it until she's older and more mature, even though she's read and enjoyed the rest of the series.I hope that following books will be more like the first three than this one, but look forward to a happy ending for everyone. less

I liked the story from Kay's point of view. It gave depth to an already good series of charactors.
