review 1: This is an easy read. It's well-written and brings to life characters that are already interesting but maybe don't feel as real as they could! Unfortunately, I love historical fiction, and this is more of a novel, so the ratio of fact to fiction is too heavy on the fiction for me. That said, I LOVED all the references to real paintings and locations... Vincent Van Gogh as a person is now alive in head. I enjoyed it.

Too much of a romance for me to really get into it; however, I really learned a lot about Van Gogh.

No. Almost an insult to everything that was Vincent Van Gogh. Terrible and juvenile and shallow.
