review 1: This was a very typical romance story and had very little excitement among the pages. Abby returns to Seaview Key where she grew up. Her two best friends - a girl and the guy she once dated - are now married and still live in Seaview, where Luke is now the doctor. Abby's parents have left her a lot of land and now divorced she hopes to be able to do something good and give back to the community. Seth met Luke in the service and has come to Seaview to work as an EMT while healing from the loses he suffered in the war. The two meet and sparks fly but they can't seem to find their way together. What would happen was far too predictable to warrant more stars in the rating.
review 2: Wonderful sequel to Seaview Inn. Met up with all the characters from the fir... morest book and got to see how their lives progressed plus added new ones. This was Abby and Seth's story and it progressed nicely towards love albeit with a lot of twists and turns. Nice closure and a happily ever after or two. Epilogue tied up all the loose ends. Very reminiscent of other books/series by Woods - the importance of friends and family, a small town, an all knowing matriarch, romance and love with lots of emotions involved. less
