review 1: I enjoyed the story and yes it was hot but.....honestly all of Sierra Cartwright's doms read like the same character and it gets really annoying after a couple of stories because it makes it seem like there is one "right" way to dominate which is so not true. I have read 3 short stories and this book by Sierra and they have all had doms who insist on counting and thanking after each spank, insist on crawling unless being specifically told to walk and appear to all buy their butt plugs at the same store (steel with rhinestones which sounds lovely but after the third story featuring its use I was rolling my eyes). So yeah...it's a good story but I wish her characters had more variety especially her doms. Probably wont read any more of her books because I am bored alr... moreeady.
review 2: I was disappointed in this book. I felt that the pace of the story was rushed and there were a lot of gaps in the characters' personalities that needed some explanation. Also, it just seems completely unrealistic that a Dom would decide to collar a sub after basically two sessions and knowing her on a personal level for less than a week. It also seems pretty unrealistic to me that a sub would accept a collar that quickly. less
