review 1: A follow up to his previous book Ant Farm. It is written in the same style and provides the same what-if kind of humor. The stories itself are not quite as enjoyable, but it's satire still makes me show it to my friends. They also think I'm a mad man. Even though they are much more important to me than the Barnes and Nobles frequenters who judged me during a reading of Ant Farm, I still don't care. This book kept me laughing from its story of a theater actor's worst nightmare to the story of God's judgment on a swimmer.
review 2: The theme of this book is that things might not always be as they seem, that there is more than one way of looking at things. but I think that its mostly just being funny. The protagonist of this book values popularity, and justice ag... moreainst the the tooth stealing fairy and other monsters in the closet, also watching bad TV shows. This reflects the author's theme because the protagonist's musings and interaction with others is often very, very funny. less
