WWW Wednesdays // September 6, 2017

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme that was previously hosted by Should Be Reading and is now hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

To play along you just had to answer the following three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Well, this week was more productive than I thought it was!

Recently Finished

This week I finished two audiobooks and I am so close to done with one physical book that I am putting here because I am hoping to finish it after dinner.

I finished Fight Clubby Chuck Palahniuk, which I actually enjoyed much more than I thought I would. Although, I think it may be in part because I had read two romance novels that I just couldn’t buy into, and this somehow seemed much more realistic.

I also listened to Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys. I finished that on Sunday, and it was another good one. I like when stories are told from multiple perspectives and are presented with different narrators.

Currently Reading

I am still reading two physical books and I have started a new audiobook this week.

No One Knows by J.T. Ellison is a book I’ve been sort of struggling through for the last week. It’s not a terrible book, but I am finding it kind of predictable. I have 90 pages left and I am hoping it will pull a rabbit out of the hat and deliver a spectacular ending.

Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult, I have only read about forty pages of so far and I am hoping I can make progress on that this week.

The Yonahlasse Riding Camp For Girls by Anton DiSclafani is my newest audiobook. I am about 15% of the way through it, and I can’t yet give an opinion on it.

What Will I Read Next

I seem to be having an aversion to my TBR list. If I can finish the books I am currently reading I think that I will start with Indelible by Adelia Saunders next, or The Visitors by Catherine Burns.

For my next audiobook, I think I will try One Plus One by Jojo Moyes, which has been on my digital shelf for a while. Although, I am slightly tempted by the recently released Sourdough by Robin Sloan.

That’s it for this week’s WWW Wednesdays. What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these books on my list?
