review 1: Okay, this is a strange book. It's not a terrible book, but it's not a great book either. It stars Cheyenne Grear as a young woman just starting college, but Cheyenne does not have studying on her mind. This young woman is obsessed with sex. So much so that it did not seem quite real to me at times. She becomes sexually obsessed with her new professor, a much older Damien Reed, but he doesn't seem to notice her at all, at least not at first. Cheyenne ends up swiping his ball point pen and using it as a sex toy. This weird little theft ends up backfiring on her later when Damien discovers the pen in her backpack.Cheyenne is supposed to be 18 years old, but she came across much younger and more immature than that. At times she seemed more like a 14 year old girl with a crus... moreh on her teacher.The book is well written, it was the characterizations I had trouble with. I simply did not like Cheyenne, nor Damien. Feeling that way about the two main characters is probably not a great thing when it comes to enjoying a book. Again, not a terrible book, but not really my cup of tea. That doesn't mean you might not enjoy it though. This is book one of four books, and it is a rather short and quick read. So, if you just want something simple and easy to take your mind off real life for a while, you might want to check out this book, and this series. But if you want something deeper, something more involving, then you may want to look elsewhere.
review 2: Cheyenne is an 18 year old virgin who is obsessed with sex! She can't wait to start college and find a handsome guy. She does meet someone but he should be 'off limits' to her. His name is Damien Reed and he is older than her.This story didn't quite live up to what I was expecting from the synopsis. Cheyenne is written well and you get the feel of her immaturity. We don't get to know much about Damien in this book and I felt no connection between the pair.I got this for free. I'm not sure I would read the other parts. It was a tad predictable and I feel I've read this scenario too many times now. There was nothing in this that held my attention enough to want to find out what happens next and although Cheyenne is sex obsessed the lack lustre sex scene we read in this book was not particulary good and in no way erotic. I assume the erotica is to come in the other books if Damien's questionnaire was anything to go by! less
