review 1: I really liked the plot and characters in this book. Kalin and Rowan made a pretty good team, and Ariel was sweet and spunky. I liked the world building and the idea of all the different types of elemental faeries too. That's something I haven't seen done before. My main problem is the writing wasn't all that great. A lot of the sentences felt choppy and some things weren't fully explained. I'll stick around for the next installment so I can see what becomes of the story, but hopefully the writing improves.
review 2: I really enjoyed Mortal Enchantment and found this book to very unique and refreshing. There were many different plot twists that kept me guessing with each page. The only problem I had was that Kalin never really learns from her mistakes and rushe
... mores into things. This usually results in stupid mistakes that could have easily been avoided. All in all thigh, I really did love it and look forward to book two. less

I like this book because it shows that girls or women can be the heros right along side the guys.
