review 1: I debated between 2 1/2 and 3 stars. Why do I hate the cover? Because I want to have my own mental picture of the hero, not a 'pretty-boy' model who doesn't quite relate.It's a cute story even though Nick is annoying at times- being committed and loyal are noble virtues but how clueless can you be? It's obvious to everyone (except Nick) that Ella is a brat. In contrast, Moire is almost too conveniently perfect (and the name- is it supposed to be French-inspired or not? 'Moiré' would be more appropriate). Some of the attempts at humor were a bit forced and didn't make much sense since the characters are supposed to be adults (the tuxedo rental store is one, for instance).It could certainly use a tighter editing job for typos, grammar mistakes, missing words, using a charac... moreter's name without introduction. All in all, it's a clean romance story and a fast read.
review 2: I would really give this a 3.5. It is a cute fun story. I like the idea and concept. It is written in first person so we only get his side of the story. At times I felt like it was lacking by not knowing what was happening with the other characters and there thoughts. It was predictable but stil kept me wanting to read to the end just to know how it would all fall in place. I like that it is a book that values marriage and loyalty within the bonds of marriage. less
