review 1: After reading the reviews for this series I thought for sure this would be a quick read that kept me entertained. I was horribly wrong. I can't figure out what the author was going for with her choice of writing style. It felt like I was reading a diary, with choppy sentences providing a play-by-play of the main character's day. It didn't feel like I was reading a story that was supposed to keep me engaged. I found the characters annoying and didn't really care about what happened to any of them. I gave up about halfway through the book. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the idea behind the book is interesting, it just wasn't executed well.
review 2: This book was pretty good. I liked the story line, and each of the characters had a
... more personality to know them by. A problem I had with this book was that most of it was the characters fighting amongst each other. There was more talking than action, but the fighting created tension and angst which led to action, so it was still good. I got this book through a giveaway here on goodreads and I am glad I did. It was a good book and I had fun reading it. Also, the ending was something I was not expecting. less
