review 1: Kudos for going outside of the box. Way outside. It is an interesting story and its presented well, but this title is extremely graphic in nature and it may disturb some readers. I wont spoil it, should you wish to read it, just be prepared for things like murder, same-sex intercourse, rape, drug use, and violence, especially against women.I don't know if I will read the rest of this trilogy or not, as yet.
review 2: 2.5 - 3 StarsDefinitely not something I have ever read before, so in that regard the basic story is a very creative idea in a genre where sometimes the story arcs are quite predictable.However, some of the situations and themes were disturbing. You find yourself really pulling for the MC, and I kept going just to see if she would succeed in her qu... moreest, only to be met with a huge cliffhanger! less
