Sex for Beginners
review 1: I really like Stephanie Bond books. This is the third book in the "Sex For Beginners" series.Like the other two books Violet receives her letter to herself she had written in a class 10 years before.Violet is a workaholic, uptight, stiff woman in her prime. She is a private conseiger. One of her clients is a sexy hunk named Dominick. Dominick is an extreme sportsman.Dominick has asked her to do some research on a company he is thinking about buying. She does the research and sends him a package. She doesn't realize in that package she also sent him the letter she has written to herself so long ago. Dominick receives the package and starts going over the information and finds the letter. What does he do with the letter? Well, of course, he reads it. He makes a plan t... moreo help Violet with her fantasy.Dominick calls Violet to see if she would like to go with him to Miami for "research" on the company. She tells him no because she has plans for Christmas with her parents. She is dreaming of a perfect Christmas with her parents which she has never had. Later, that day Violet goes to lunch with her mom to find out her mom had forgotten about the lunch. Her mom tells her that she and her dad have other plans for Christmas. Violet is upset but hides it, after all, isn't that normal for them to forget her. Violet goes back to her office and calls Dominick to find out if the offer is still on the table. It is!! Violet forgets she told another client she would watch her dog over the holidays. What to do now? Dominick arrives and she tells him she can't go now because she forgot about the dog. Dominick says the dog can go to. The dog (Winslow) hates Dominick and is always trying to bite him. They go to Miami in Dominick's private plane. Dominick knows all about her fantasy to have sex after doing something exciting. So he plans to have lots of it with her. They do research on the teaching school he wants to buy. They have a great sex filled few days in Miami. While Dominick is in the shower the last day there, Violet does a little snooping and finds the letter she had sent herself. She is humiliated that Dominick has it and this was only a plot to have sex with her. She confronts him when he comes out of the shower and she won't let him explain. She leaves and goes to her room packs her clothes and is ready to leave. Dominick helps her with her luggage and put some outside the door while she goes get another one. He tries talking to her but she just walks out.At the airport she is told there is a delay due to the weather. She is sitting there and decides to straighten her clothes in her suitcase and notices a package in there. She opens it and there is a gift in there she had told Dominick she always wanted this doll she had seen while doing some Christmas shopping. She is puzzled how he had gotten it into her suitcase until she remembered he had put it outside for her. She turns when she hears some people saying in was snowing outside. She said snowing in Miami no it can't be but it was. She turns around and see Dominick walking in with a big Christmas tree. He tells her in remembered her telling him she wanted a "magical Christmas" and he was giving it to her. He talks to her and confesses what he had done but that he had fallen in love with her and never meant to hurt her. He told him she loved him too.In this book we finally find out who Lillian is but I won't tell ya. You will have to get this series and find out yourself.
review 2: I am 3h 2m into this book, and I want to smack the heroine and wish a very itch STD upon the hero.THEY HAD SEX THE NIGHT BEFORE, AND NOW SHE IS SHOPPING FOR THE WOMEN HE SLEPT WITH THROUGHOUT THE YEAR!!![Breathe]And again. And again. And again.I know it's her job (she runs one of those conceirge service businesses), but COMMON FREAKING DECENCY should have prevailed this guy to pass this on to someone else or SEND THEM ALL GIFT CARDS!!!![Breathe]And again. And again.Repeat...about A ZILLION TIMES.Ok. Not working.Ok. ONE of the women is his housekeeper. ONE of out say A DOZEN that we know of at this point?????This guy is a complete jerkwad who deserves a REALLY ITCHY STD.It just keeps getting better...despite BELIEVING that he leaves her sportin' wood that he late sates with other women (yes, she believes this happens more than once) she CONTINUES SLEEPING WITH HIM AND EVEN FALLS IN LOVE.Oh, I see, this must be a "closet" BDSM story. Duh. I should have figured that out. Obviously, this is her idea of like foreplay or some kind of perverse psychological pain/pleasure deal.Makes perfect sense now.I've got 45m 6s left...I NEED A VALIUM.Oh, just DARN! NOT the word I wanted to use, btw. He brought her dream Christmas to reality at the freaking airport when she was kicking his admittedly sorry butt to the curb. Talk about tugging at the heart strings. Fine! He STILL needs to AT LEAST apologize for being such a jerkwad and stuff then I'm thinking being her sex slave for at least a decade or so especially AFTER they have kids.OMGoodness, what a weepy, sappy, TOTALLY perfect ending. I am such a sucker for happy joy!! less

Rating: 2.5/5Bit of a miss, this story. It's a gamble when it comes to the Blaze series.
