review 1: This book is exactly what most 80's music fan expect it to be...a biography about sex, drugs, and rock & roll spiraling in & out of control and making pop culture history in the process. When I'm driving down Sunset in LA, I think about what it must have been like for these guys to come up during that time...remembering all the craziness from this book. Whether its all true or not, doesn't really matter.... It's a fun read.
review 2: I was so excited to read this book, and it didn't disappoint. It has sex, drugs, and rock n roll and everything in between. You learn how they went from being virtually homeless musicians to the biggest rock band on the planet. Reading the stories behind the songs and the turmoil between the members was interesting and insightful.
... moreThe rise and fall of this band will go down in rock history. For a few short years, gods walked among us..and their name was Guns N' Roses less
