review 1: I reviewed this book for Ever After PR.This book is a collection of a bunch of little short stories about actors or directors and their work. Some are veterns that have passed on, and some are still in the business. I had really high hopes for this book. Unfortunately I was disappointed. There are some stories that made me giggle, some laugh out loud. For the most part however, most just fell flat. In my opnion these stories make the actors out to be demanding jerks. I wonder if these stories are 100% real...and how many are twisted verisons of the truth that have become urban legends. I think the issue is with myself however, I'm not a big movie fan.
review 2: I love love love movie/tv. I also love trivia. And now I love this book.If you are a fan of celebrit... morees, tv or film, this is a must read. Filled with interesting facts, the stories are short and then have "extra's" at the end.I learned so many different things about these stars and now see them as the people they really are, instead of the person on the screen.Funny, shocking and sometimes sad, this is a book you could read all at once or in bits and pieces. I know I'll be reading it again from time to time.If there's someone in your life who's a fan of celebrites, get them this book. They'll love it too. less
