review 1: Picked this up off the bargain table and thought it looked quite interesting. I enjoyed the brief chapters and the sometimes humorous outlook on certain events. People seem to have thought it is not very historically accurate, and while I'm not a historian, I think perhaps it is difficult to summarize such events and all their details in a brief 3-5 pages. At times however, the lack of depth and tone taken means that this book lacks the authority and interest it could have potentially had. Additionally, there are times where this book goes beyond mere recollection and attempts to analyse and conclude, not always with the same level of authority. less
