review 1: This book left much to be desired on numerous levels. The plot was okay and I stayed with it just to find out if the manuscript was authentic. The characters had the potential to be bigger than life (actors, drama on stage and off, etc.)but they were sorely underdeveloped, so left me constantly aware that I was simply reading a book rather than being pulled into the story enough to forget they are not real people. Won't give this one any recommendation.
review 2: This was a free Kindle book and it didn't take long before I realized why it was on the free shelf. While the premise behind the story sounded interesting, the whole book just fell flat on its face. The characters were flat as was the plot and the feeble attempts at mysterious things (like what happene
... mored to the main character's brother) meant to capture the reader's interest. I didn't continue reading the book because I wanted to find out what happened. The only reason I actually finished it was because I hate to leave anything undone. less
