review 1: For some reason this one didn't appeal to me like the previous two. In the previous books, Wylde to me was like an Alpha. Strong and had a lot of power. In this one, I guess my perception was wrong and because of that I couldn't really get into it. He just didn't feel like the same character, even though we barely saw him the previous books. Cass. Well, Cass was cute. His annoying pick up lines. I did have to roll my eyes at times at him because how could he really NOT know. I also loved Capone in this! I can't wait for his story.
review 2: Okay, what's not to love about Cass, cheesy pick-up lines and all. Smacked, punched or thrown, the poor man truly thought he was putting effort into his pick-ups. Finally in Wylde Fleur, he discovers the one perso
... moren who finds them charming. Loved the mpreg storyline. For once we get to experience it in detail. Not completely true to form, Wylde's personality during his pregnancy was cute and funny. I really enjoyed this storyline as compared to the last one. This book seemed longer, ramble free and decidedly unrushed. Capone is proving to be an interesting character and though I enjoyed him hitting Wylde's father in his pocketbook, I was feeling a little bloodthirsty and kind of hoped to see him get cut up into little pieces to feed the fishes. It wasn't error free and though I enjoyed it enough to overlook the typos and such, there were a few big oopsies. Both come during Cass and Wylde's second intimate scene. One: the wording of some of it, made you believe that this was their first time having sex and that Wylde was not pregnant already. Two: A few sentences were repeated at the part where Cass leans down to bite Wylde. I feel a set of fresh eyes, ones that haven't looked over the story at all, would find these obvious mistakes. Every author should have a proofreader whose only job is to do the final read. Edit: Wanted to add, that I also liked the twist on the baby being what's called a Daywalker and the backstory on vampire and fae matings. less
