review 2: Darling book. The rhythmic text makes for a fun read-aloud and could certainly be used in a preschool or kindergarten classroom when talking about attributes. Parents of pint-sized, opinionated fashionistas will certainly see something familiar in young hippo as she is dazed by so many choices for shoes of all types and the struggle to balance her choice with mom's opinion and budget. Decision m... moreaking for a girl with so many options can be rather tough. I loved the sunny sherbet-toned color palette chosen for the sweet illustrations. Can't wait to read about more adventures when little hippo goes shopping for a dress! less
